The hike can also be done in the opposite direction. \n\nTo reach the refuge, you walk the final stretch of the Translagorai route. From the locality of Bassa, hikers can choose between ascending Monte Fravort or taking the military road, which leads directly to Forcella Fravort with a gentler gradient.\n\nFrom there, the route continues toward Passo della Portela and Passo del Lago.
