Italy\u2019s Youngest Hut Keepers<\/h2>\r\nBuilt entirely with local stones and managed by Italy\u2019s youngest hut keepers<\/strong>, Ruggero Samaden (born in 2001) and Gabriele Andreatta (born in 2002), Rifugio Sette Selle is a welcoming retreat for hikers, climbers, and families. Inaugurated in 1975 by SAT Pergine, the refuge offers 24 beds divided among a 15-person dormitory, a 4-bed room, and a 5-bed room.\r\n\r\nThe hut is open year-round on weekends and public holidays, as well as daily from June to September and from Christmas to Epiphany. In winter, it can be reached with snowshoes, ski mountaineering gear, or sturdy boots with crampons.\r\n

      \r\n\r\nFrom Pal\u00f9 del Fersina, follow the road toward the hamlets of Frotten (Vr\u00f2ttn) and Tasainer. Along the way, you\u2019ll already find signs for E5 \u2013 Rifugio Sette Selle. After crossing the Rio Battisti bridge, you\u2019ll reach the locality of Frotten. Alternatively, you can park in the village of Pal\u00f9, which adds about 15\u201320 minutes to the hike. At the paid parking area (\u20ac6\/day), take trail SAT 343 (or alternatively trail 343B, of similar length) toward Rifugio Sette Selle. <\/span>\r\n\r\nFollow the trail past the locality of Laner and into the charming area known as Intertol, a name of clearly Germanic origin.
