This route connects Panarotta, which can be reached from Levico or Pergine by car (with a large parking area and the possibility of support at Chalet Panarotta), to Rifugio Sette Selle, located above Palù del Fersina, crossing the heart of the Lagorai range. The hike can also be done in the opposite direction.

To reach the refuge, you walk the final stretch of the Translagorai route. From the locality of Bassa, hikers can choose between ascending Monte Fravort or taking the military road, which leads directly to Forcella Fravort with a gentler gradient.

From there, the route continues toward Passo della Portela and Passo del Lago. At this point, there’s another choice: either continue on the higher trail 343, which is more challenging but more panoramic, or descend to Lake Erdemolo and follow trail 324 to Rifugio Sette Selle.
