The Alta Via del Granito is a beautiful circular traverse starting and ending at Malga Sorgazza, crossing the unique granite island of the Cima d’Asta–Cimon Rava group, reaching as far as the southern edges of the Lagorai. It follows a network of ancient trails and former military roads dating back to World War I, linking three mountain huts.
Three, four, or even five days of hiking through stunning natural landscapes, powerful reminders of the Great War, mountain pastures, and alpine huts—an exemplary testimony of the ancient pact between humans and nature.
The Alta Via del Granito is a flexible itinerary, thanks to the available “variants,” which allow you to adapt the route based on your time and the availability of accommodations in the huts.
