As Rifugi del Lagorai and Cima d’Asta, we are a network of seven mountain huts nestled in one of the most fascinating and unspoiled mountain ranges in Trentino. Our mission is simple: to offer an authentic experience, in harmony with nature, and away from what we might call traditional mass tourism.
Each refuge is unique and special in its own way, but what binds us together is a common vision: to be the custodians of an authentic mountain, where hospitality translates into sincere welcome, sharing, and respect for the environment.
Here, the mountain belongs to those who love it for what it is. Our refuges can only be reached on foot, immersed in an environment where the silence, colors, and scents of nature create a magical atmosphere. We try to limit disposable items, opting for washable tableware and durable materials for all needs.
Sustainability
We are committed to using renewable energy sources to power our facilities, reducing environmental impact.
We exclusively use biodegradable detergents, respecting the environment and reducing the impact on the delicate mountain ecosystem.
We adopt sustainable waste management practices, such as composting, to minimize waste and return to nature what comes from it.
We work to remove single-use plastic, favoring sustainable solutions and alternative materials such as glass.

From savory canederli with melted butter or broth, to polenta accompanied by mushrooms, goulash, or cheese, each of our recipes celebrates mountain tradition. Even the desserts, like strudel, Linzer Torte, and tarts, are homemade with artisanal care.
We cater to every dietary need with a varied menu that includes vegetarian, gluten-free, and, in some refuges, vegan options. For those with specific intolerances or allergies, we strive to offer solutions that don’t compromise on taste or quality, ensuring everyone has a satisfying lunch or dinner.
